Drug suspect arrested in St. Joseph Village

CAMP DAGOHOY.- That Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) reported that last Wednesday morning, elements of PPSC/PAIDSOTG led by PO3 Jake Catane composed of PO3 Roman Quidlat J0r., PO3 Richard Timbal, PO3 Guisspe Remolador, PO3 Rodeliano Lagahit Jr., PO2 Jose Felicisimo Rebosura, PO2 Enrico Tayactac, PO1 Arlene Manatad and PO1 Edwin Gudito, under the supervision and control of PSupt. Nicomedes P. Olaivar, Company Commander PPSC conducted buy-bust operation at Centro 2, brgy. Dampas this city.
The operation resulted to the arrest of one Jan Joshua Agta y Leparto, single, 24 years old and a resident of Saint Joseph Village Tagbilaran City.
Said suspect was arrested after one of the PNP personnel who acted as posuer buyer was able to purchase one (1) piece heat sealed transparent cellophane sachet containing white crystalline granules believe to be “shabu” in the amount of one thousand pesos from the suspect.
Seized in the possession and control of the latter were the following: one (1) piece one thousand peso bill with serial numbers JPO67424 utilized as buy-bust money, one (1) piece medium size transparent cellophane sachet containing suspected shabu, three (3) pieces note book/record book and one (1) piece transparent cellophane containing various receipts.
Inventory of confiscated items was conducted at the place of arrest in presence of the suspect himself, invited witnesses, two elected officials of said place namely Barangay Kagawads Felix Oscar Adarne and Mildred Borja, representative from the DOJ Florabel Arcamo and representative from the media Willy Maestrado.
Case is now being prepared for filing in court.
