UB crim studes shines in Baguio


BAGUIO CITY.- Students from the College of Criminology of the University of Bohol based in Tagbilaran Cityhas excelled their performance during the recently concluded 2nd National Criminology Students Congress.
Dean Jess Accullador of the UB College of Criminology told the Bohol News Todaythat he was so proud of the performance of his students during gab here.
Acullador said that the UB criminology students garnered the second spot in the Best Research Paper and also the second place in the best paper presenter.
Aside from this , the UB criminology students also landed in the 9th place in the top 10 shooters out of 47 participants and also bagged the 9th place of the top 10 in quiz bowl out of 35 participants.
Acullador also disclosed that the UB karatedo team bagged the 2nd Overall Champion in karate events with four gold, nine silvers and 4 bronze medals.
The UB criminology dean expressed his gratitude to the support extended by the school administration headed by UB Pres. Nuevas Tirol-Montes as well as to its donors and benefactors for the trip of the UB criminology students here.
The national congress took place while the criminology students were having a semestral break.
Acullador said this is more of an extra mile for the UB criminology students to contribute their time and participation by sacrificing their semestral break to pay the way for the joining the national congress of criminology students here.
